It’s real now

“Job Creators.”  Sound familiar?  It’s a key concept for those of both major parties who want to yet again lower the taxes of the richest Americans.  The economic theory is that rich people invest their excess wealth in companies that hire the little people.  So the little people need to support lowering taxes on the rich because while they hurt in the short run, they will be helped eventually.

Great argument.  But Job Creators is hardly an entrenched conservative term.  Here’s a look at the use of the term on the Internet.




Essentially non-existent but three years ago, now it’s repeated regularly.  Repetition, not logic, makes the term a central part of our political discourse today.
